As of 1 October 2021, regulated online gambling is permitted on the Dutch market. If you want to promote a gambling campaign, such as an online casino or other games of chance, you are required to complete an additional questionnaire for each media property. You will find this questionnaire in the campaign overview of every gambling programme.

Games of chance with a high risk of addiction are not prohibited in the Netherlands, but they are strictly regulated. Protecting consumers is an important objective of Dutch gambling legislation. For marketing and advertising, this means that additional requirements under the Remote Gambling Act apply and must be followed.
To provide advertisers in the gambling segment with transparency about your promotional activities, it is necessary to complete this questionnaire. Your answers help advertisers determine whether your media is eligible to promote their campaigns. Advertisers who have made this questionnaire mandatory will be able to view your responses.
