If your commission is lower than expected, it's helpful to check the campaign conditions. Some campaigns use a tiered commission structure, where commission amounts depend on the number of transactions. In other cases, commissions are only paid for specific consumer actions.
Commission Calculation: Amount vs. Revenue
The Daisycon system calculates the commission based on the "Amount" — this figure is not the same as "Revenue". These two values can differ depending on the campaign. It’s important to note that "Revenue" is not the figure used to calculate commissions. Although it may not be directly visible for individual transactions, the "Amount" serves as the basis for commission calculation. Please keep this in mind when reviewing your commission details, as these differences may vary across campaigns.
Assist Conversion
You may have received an assist conversion. This occurs when an advertiser assigns a smaller commission to publishers who contributed to a transaction but did not have the 'last click.' The full commission goes to the publisher with the final click that led to the sale or lead, but assist conversions allow advertisers to reward other contributing publishers.
Partial or Full Disapproval
Transactions can be disapproved either partially or fully for several reasons. Some common causes include:
- The customer canceled or returned the product.
- The customer did not meet the required conditions, such as completing a specific action in the purchase process.
- There was an issue with tracking, or the conversion process did not meet the campaign’s specific guidelines.
