If the commission is lower than you had expected, then its wisely to look into the conditions of the campaign. It could be possible that there is a sliding scale fee. This means the commission depends on the amount of transactions. It's also possible you’ll only get a commission when a consumer does a specific action.
It could be possible you got an assist conversion. In this case the advertiser set up an additional commission for publishers who contributed in a transaction. When you get an assist conversion it means you did not had the ‘last click’ in the process of the transaction. The publisher that had the ‘last click’ gets the full commission of the sale or lead. The good news is that some advertisers also give a, smaller, commission to the publisher that had the Assist.
