Promotion material and other creatives are provided by advertisers individually. You can find them in the menu: "Material | Advertisements." To use a campaign creative you have to be approved for that program first.
- Login to your account and navigate to the advertisements menu
- Choose the campaign and ad group that you want to promote. Click on "use material" to receive the code or tracking link
- Select your media and - if applicable - set your sub ID. You can now copy and paste the iFrame code into your website editor
When making use of a text link, you can simply add the tracking link as a hyperlink into your text. The use of banners is slightly different. We will explain this in the next paragraphs.
How can I add banners to my website?
We have decided to only enable the use of remote banners. This is because we believe that it's very important to keep promotional material as up to date as possible. For some branches it is mandatory to keep information on promotional material updated, which we can ensure by hosting the material at Daisycon. This means that you only need to embed the remote source, to display the banner on your website.
How do I use remote banners?
You need to embed the banner code that you receive from the Daisycon system into your website. For most website editors it is quite straightforward to add remote banners.
Example: Wordpress
When you edit your post, you need to switch your editor from 'Visual' to 'Text'. When adding the received piece of HTML code here, Wordpress will automatically show this as the banner.
As you can see, the banner will be displayed when you switch your editor back to 'Visual'.
Please keep in mind that editors from different backends can work differently. This process might differ in case you use a different website editor. Please check for your website, how you can embed a remote image into your website.
